A kikuyu musician fighting alcohol
“lyrically “
Kimemia Wa Jane |
His song titled, ‘Jabero’
is certainly a hit and has been voted overwhelmingly by his loyal fans in
Kikuyu radio stations, Kameme, Inooro and Coro F.M.s. In fact, the song was
number one in Kameme FM countdown in a programme known as Ririmbuka hosted by Kamau wa
Kamlesh AKA Njamba ya Mbuthi.
The song tells a story of a guy who left Central Kenya after
school and got a good job in Nairobi. The guy started drinking too much and his life is now a total mess; he has no savings and no hope.

This artiste performs in clubs and other social places where
he encourages his fans to drink responsibly. This is a great initiative by the
artiste and he should be supported by all Kenyans of goodwill.
Let us all join hands in fighting alcohol and drug abuse in
our country. We can make Kenya, our nation, a great success in Africa and
beyond if we can combat this deadly trend and save our youths.
Here at Kenya @ Glance we are committed to supporting such
initiatives and campaigns and we wish Kimemia Wa Jane all the best in his
