WHY I STOPPED
LOOKING UP WHILE PRAYING
I grew up in a strictly-Christian family where prayers were
the most common ritual. I still pray and I strongly believe in the
unquestionable power of prayer. I also believe that God answers our prayers.
I read the
bible and realised that I am the temple of God. That God dwells inside me. I
realised that I should always look within while praying. I should think of my
mistakes and change my ways. Then I should love and respect other human beings,
regardless of their looks, race, tribe or status; they too are temples of God.
So, God
dwells inside you and me. If we serve humanity with love, generosity, kindness,
patience, humility and compassion, we are in turn serving God. For if you
cannot love the neighbor that you see every day, how can you claim to love God?

You are so wrong! God lives in heaven above.
